JAN MOIR: Being vile to Winslet won’t help fathers in despair
As Harriet Harman is so fond of pointing out, families come in all shapes and sizes these days, writes JAN MOIR. Kate Winslet’s family is a case in point.
‘My kids don’t go back and forth,’ said Winslet in an October interview with Vogue magazine. ‘None of this 50/50 time with the mums and dads — my children live with me, that is it.’
Parents’ rights group Fathers4Justice has seized upon these words and used them to front a planned advertising campaign.
