You Made Me A Mother/ Poetry and Picture Quote/ Love Letters To Our Children
I felt you. You were a pea. Then a lemon. Then an eggplant. I followed advice. I read twelve books. I quite coffee. Could you tell I was scared?
I talked to you, sang to you… I wasn’t ready.
But then you were here. Ten toes. Seven pounds.
Love. Big Fat love.
I held you. I fed you. I realized that I would spend my life doing things to make you happy- and that would make me happy.
And then there are the times I want to give up.
You’ve made me rethink my sanity. You’ve made me want to fall at my mother’s feet and tell her that I get it. But then you smile and you say my name….and you grab my hand with those little fingers.
We’re growing together.
We are seeing the world like it’s new. I will open my heart and love will rain down all over you.
You’ll giggle and I’ll do it all over again. And we will walk hand in hand until you let go. I made you, but you made me a mother.

I am Forever Changed ( Poetry and Picture Quote) / Love Letters To Our Children

” My Daughters-
Can you feel me when I dream of you?
Does your heart feel my heart as it reaches for you,
tugs at you in the night?
Does your soul hear my pain as it howls at the wind?
Missing you, loving you,
Grieving the loss of you in my life,
I am forever changed
You are never forgotten and always loved.”

I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU BY K J ( POETRY) / Love Letters To Our Children

I know my arm is strong
the landscape of it’s breadth has held new life
has cradled the sweetest innocence
and protected a beating heart
I know my arm is strong
the same arm,
clenched tight by an angry fist,
is still strong
My voice is still here
the power of my words to heal and sooth
the joy of song and treasured talk
the chosen silence and the answers
no matter how heavy the hand
to bring down my voice,
my voice is still here
The heart
no words can tell
written, spoken, heard,
how you are my heart
my dearest child
that the deepest well within my being
holds your light and memory
always,
always,
and no man
no woman
no power, being, or force
shall take you from me
shall shake my grasp
of hope
that i will be your mother
that you are my child
and I will always love you.

Wisconsin mom shot saving 2 of her kids, but husband and daughter killed/ CNN
http://www.cnn.com/2015/05/05/us/wisconsin-shooting/index.html
(CNN)Erin Stoffel shuffled her 7-year-old son, Ezra, and 5-year-old daughter, Selah, off a pedestrian bridge in Menasha, Wisconsin, after a gunman randomly opened fire, killing her husband and her 11-year-old daughter.
She did this while taking three bullets.
“You can never underestimate the power of a mother to protect her children. To have three gunshot wounds and be able to get off that bridge and save two of her children is incredible to think about,” Dr. Ray Georgen at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah said Monday.
“It’s an amazing story of heroism on her part and certainly of her children.”
But Stoffel’s quick actions weren’t enough to save her daughter Olivia and her husband, Johnathon, 33. Adam Bentdahl, 31, an unrelated Appleton man, also died.
Police say Sergio Valencia Del Toro, 27, opened fire near the middle of the Trestle Trail Bridge on Sunday evening after an argument with his ex-fiancée, CNN affiliate WLUK reported. He then turned the gun on himself, taking his own life, police said.
The gunman didn’t know any of his victims, authorities said.
Chaos on the bridge
Even with the loss of life, Erin and Ezra Stoffel are being called heroes. The toll could have been higher.
Stoffel sent Ezra to get help amid the gunfire.
“Despite being shot multiple times, Ms. Stoffel was able to … (instruct) her young son to go run for assistance,” said Menasha police Chief Tim Styka. “Absolutely amazing.”
Barry Busby, the Winnebago County coroner, also praised her quick thinking.
“True heroes going into an act of fire, where they don’t know what’s out there on this unprotected bridge, but trying to save other people,” Busby said. “And I think their fast response helped save a lot of people.”
Georgen said the early stages of Stoffel’s recovery are going well. The medical center lists her condition as critical.
A gofundme page set up to help the family after the shooting had raised almost $75,000 by Tuesday morning.
CNN’s Tony Marco and Amanda Watts contributed to this report.
